Raspberry Jam (ENG)

This jam is delicious, completely plant-based, sugar free, and preparing it takes only 15 minutes. Does it get any better than this?



Ingredients:

  • 300g frozen raspberries

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds

  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup or rice syrup or agave


Method:

1. In a pan, cook the raspberries and the maple syrup at low heat, until the raspberries start to fall apart (it usually takes 5-8 minutes).

2. With a wooden spoon, mash the raspberries while you keep on cooking them.

3. Add the chia seeds, stir well, and cook for another 10 minutes.

4. Remove the jam from the pan and pour it in a glass jar. Leave to cool.



Notes

This jam is delicious with bread, but also with plant-based yoghurt or stirred in a chia pudding (link chia pudding) .
